1. Watchmen: Probably the greatest comic book ever written. One of those books you can read again and again and keep spotting new things.
2. Ghost World: Haunting. Film's good too.
3. Batman: Year One: 'Batman Begins' borrowed a lot of things from this book, but I think the book's a better piece of storytelling.
4. Preacher: A nasty, twisted little western. Any story where God gets it has my vote.
5. Batman: Arkham Asylum: Spot the Batman fan. Another book with enough layers to read multiple times. Gorgeous artwork and clever writing.

In no particular order… Kingdom Come Both volumes of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Watchmen Some old Brian Bolland illustrated Judge Dredd Oh, and some old school black and white Tomb of Dracula.
The that’s all for now V.I.

I love the way the second volume of Extraordinary Gentlemen deals with War of the Worlds, and the way the invisible man gets it is just twisted.
I really liked 2000AD but it's not as consistent as it used to be.

Well, you might say Griffin gets it in the end. I really enjoy Kevin O’Neill’s artwork (have some of his old Marshall Law stuff laying around). I also like the little travelogue in the back. I thought it was clever use of all the fantasy lands writers used since the dawn of writing.
The didn’t Hyde Park was named after him V.I.
